Carol Jones Horsham PA USA"In response to the query from Carol Jones (quoted above) I searched "Cemetery Inscriptions in Pictou County" by John MacKay, at the Pictou County Roots Society in New Glasgow, and found the following entry for Christ Church Cemetery in Stellarton:
"184 Joseph Jones infant son 1864-1864 Mar.01 2m.5d Enoch & Barbara"
This is the only headstone for "Jones" in the Christ Church Cemetery in John MacKay's book.
At Nova Scotia Historical Statistics I found two birth records that may be relevant:
"Ann Gordon Jones born 1865 in Albion Mines [i.e. Stellarton]; Father: Enoch Jones; Mother: Barbara Carmichael"
"Obadiah Jones born 1867 in Albion Mines [i.e. Stellarton]; Father: Enoch Jones; Mother: Barbara Jones"
