OBITUARY Mrs. Flora Sophia Corkum The sudden passing of Mrs. Flora Sophia Corkum, wife of Ammon Corkum, occurred on Thursday afternoon, Aug. 4, at the D.M. Hospital. She went to the hospital on Sunday, July 31, but was quickly called to her eternal home and reward. She was 66 years of age. Born Feb. 2, 1883, in Pleasantville, daughter of the late Silas and Matilla Lantz, Pleasantville. She was of a family of 12, there being six sisters and four brothers, who all predeceased her except one sister, Phoebe, Mrs. Robert Earle, Cambridge, Mass. In her immediate family she is survived by her husband and nine children, twin daughters having passed away in their infancy. Olive, Mrs. Harold Cleversey, of Ashtabula, Ohio; Winnifred, Mrs. Murray Mailman, Hebbville; Phyllis, Mrs. Edwin Cleversey, Revere, Mass.; Lillian, Mrs. Bronson Cleversey; Frances, Mrs. Malcolm Corkum; Sadie, Mrs. Reginald Crouse; Douglas, Ira, all of Pleasantville, and a son Wesley, who is presently at sea. Nineteen grandchildren also survive. Mrs. Corkum was a faithful follower of the Lord Jesus Christ, having come to a saving knowledge of Christ when a young girl. She was a member of the Baptist church. Many friends were made during her 15 years of practical nursing in various communities. The funeral service was held on Sunday afternoon at the residence in Pleasantville, conducted by Lic. Seth Crowell, and assisted by Rev.
