The newspaper article claimed Mary Elizabeth Feindel was born Jan 2, 1840. But others have stated Jan 2, 1841.
The article may have been in error. Additionally she was said to wed at age 17. That would put her marriage year in 1857 or 1858. Yet the article said 1859. I'm not sure which is right but its possible that 100 years after the fact the family was off by one year and celebrated her 100th birthday when she was actually 99. In my database I did have a birth of Jan 2, 1841. Marriage date unknown to me. - Scott --- On Fri, 8/20/10, Darlene MacPherson <darlene.macpher...@hotmail.com> wrote: From: Darlene MacPherson <darlene.macpher...@hotmail.com> Subject: RE: [nsroots] [LL] Obit: Mrs. Elkanah Lohnes, d. 1949 To: swth...@yahoo.ca, lunen-li...@rootsweb.com, cwalker2...@hotmail.com Cc: "ns roots" <nsroots@ednet.ns.ca> Date: Friday, August 20, 2010, 9:59 PM Mary Elizabeth Feindel I have her parents as Henry Feindel and Louisa Arenburg.
