Hi,

I have been following the discussion on ntfs_attrib setting/getting using the
ntfs-3g driver. I compiled and installed the latest ntfs-3g-2009.4.4.tgz but
when I try to get the file-attributes with the name system.ntfs_attrib, nothing
is returned.

Am I using a wrong version?

My goal is very simple, I want to forcibly set the ENCRYPTED flag on a file.
The problem has arisen because I recovered some deleted files using a program
that does not take care of EFS. Now I have the recovered files, but they are
encrypted and I have no way of storing them as such and trying to recover them
by decrypting them. If I store the encrypted files as unencrypted in NTFS and
then forcibly mark them as encrypted, then NTFS will decrypt them for me and I
should be able to get back my original data.

thanx,
--rohit.
