We did buy additional RAM for the NAS so we had enough to allocate to the VM and NAS Functions. QNAP is using QEMU for the Hypervisor. So far no issues my only fear is support. If there is an issue not sure how timely QNAP is going to be in responding so we have robust backup in place.
