That doesn't look like a nutch ant error and AFAICT no taskdef using 
that class is in nutch or any of its core plugins.

What version of nutch are you trying to compile?
What version of ant are you using?
Is it the version that comes with Ubuntu or downloaded directly?
What if any changes have you made to any of the build files?
Do you have any custom plugins, taskdefs, or jobs?
