(Distributed search servers possible too) Check installation documents for nutch and hadoop and follow them, you'll see yourself what should be done.

I heard that nutch has 65000 ports. If I'm going to use mine online on a website, then only 4 ports need to be open, to prevent hackers. How does one close/open ports, and which ones should i leave open? Thanks in advance
