Pond at 9am. 

Some birds seen by Bob at the Reservoir before the walk are included in the 
list. 

Canada Goose - 2 Turtle Pond
Gadwall - male Reservoir
Mallard - female with 14 ducklings Turtle Pond, female with one duckling Upper 
Lobe
Double-crested Cormorant - at least 30 Reservoir, flyovers in the Ramble
Great Egret - 5 landing briefly and taking off Reservoir
Black-crowned Night-Heron - flovers Reservoir
Red-tailed Hawk - over west side
Spotted Sandpiper - Reservoir, Upper Lobe
Herring Gull - flyover
Great Black-backed Gull - Reservoir
Black-billed Cuckoo - Turtle Pond Dock (Bruno Boni)
Chimney Swift - around 10 gathering nesting material Belvedere Castle
Red-bellied Woodpecker
Downy Woodpecker
Eastern-wood-Pewee - 3 total - heard at Reservoir, seen Humming Tombstone & in 
the Ramble
Empidonax Flycatcher
Eastern Kingbird - Turtle Pond
Red-eyed Vireo - 50+ (everywhere)
Blue Jay - multiple locations
Barn Swallows - 4 flying under the Turtle Pond Dock
Black-capped Chickadee - 1 Gill Overlook
Swainson's Thrush - 2 Ramble
Gray-cheeked Thrush - Shakespeare Garden (before walk - Bob with Rikki Ravitz), 
Upper Lobe (Mayra Cruz)
Gray Catbird - many
Cedar Waxwings - feeding on shadbush berries at Weather Station, Dock on Turtle 
Pond, Warbler Rock, etc. 
Northern Waterthrush - Upper Lobe (Tom Socci)
Mourning Warbler - male Upper Lobe, male Swampy Pin Oak
Common Yellowthroat - males & females
American Redstart - total 20 (adult males, females, immature males)
Northern Parula - less than 5 all female - Belvedere Castle, etc. 
Magnolia Warbler - less than 10 (adult males, females, and immatures)
Blackburnian Warbler - female Upper Lobe
Yellow Warbler - 3 adult males, 7 females
Blackpoll Warbler - around 25 (adult males & females)
Black-throated Blue Warbler - female Upper Lobe
Black-throated Green Warbler - 2 females (SW Reservoir & Shakespeare Garden)
Canada Warbler - a few - adult male at the Upper Lobe, the Point (Peter Haskel)
Wilson's Warbler - female Mugger's Woods (Noa Cruz), Shakespeare Garden (Noa 
Cruz)
Red-winged Blackbird - male Upper Lobe
Brown-headed Cowbird - chez Armando
Common Grackle - common  - Turtle Pond, etc. 
Baltimore Oriole - pairs throughout the Ramble
