shorebirds concentrated on the coast guard spit from a very high tide: red
knots, oystercatchers, black bellied plover, dunlin and a possible
candidate for a godwit on the north tip of short beach.. i couldnt get
closer for a better look and didnt bring my scope.. several lesser black
backed gulls including a few adults in west end 2 lot.. tons of flickers
and tree swallows
