Highlights: Fox Sparrows & Wood Ducks. All Reservoir birds seen from the south end only. Thanks to Sandra Critelli and Vicki Seabrook for spotting many of today's birds. Canada Goose - around 50 Reservoir (before walk) Wood Duck - 4 (2 males & 2 females) east side of the Point Mallard - small numbers Reservoir & Lake Bufflehead - 8 (6 males & 2 females) Reservoir (1 female seen on bird walk) Hooded Merganser - 4 (2 male2 & 2 females) Reservoir (pair seen on bird walk) Ruddy Duck - around 50 seen from south end Reservoir Mourning Dove - around 20 (feeders & Sparrow Rock) American Coot - 7 Reservoir Ring-billed, Herring, & Great Black-backed Gulls - Reservoir Red-tailed Hawk - 2 (Sparrow Rock & flyover) Red-bellied Woodpecker - residents Downy Woodpecker - residents Blue Jay - residents American Crow - 3 flyovers Black-capped Chickadee - 9 Tufted Titmouse - 33 White-breasted Nuthatch - 8 Brown Creeper - Gill Overlook (Jane from Scotland) Hermit Thrush - the Point Northern Mockingbird - Sparrow Rock (before walk) Cedar Waxwing - flock of around 20 (in Amur Cork west of Sparrow Rock) American Goldfinch - 10 (some in Sweetgums) Fox Sparrow - 5 White-throated Sparrow - many Dark-eyed Junco - at least 6 Pinetum Northern Cardinal - residents Red-winged Blackbird - 4 Sweetgum in Mugger's Woods Common Grackle - around 200 Deb Allen P.
