This morning at exactly 7:06 a.m. (6:66), exiting the Black Cow Coffee Co. on Old Post Rd., Croton-on-Hudson it was evident the vulture roost had just alit. It seems to be burgeoning as I counted exactly 120 (1/20). Included among the dominant turkey vultures, I spotted a token 4 black. I got in the car and on my iPod shuffle up came The Yardbirds, "The Shape of Things to Come". To good birding and good luck in 2017.
