Approximately 30 birders showed for the first Orchard Beach Puddle Walk. There
wasn’t much bird diversity but a great opportunity for photographers, since
birds were very close, light and reflections were beautiful, and it was easy to
sit on the asphalt surface.

Too bad two Peregrines quickly flushed the only Pectoral found by Andrew Baksh.
There were lots of Semipalmated and Least Sandpipers, a few Lesser Yellowlegs
and Short-billed Dowitchers. On the walk over from Rodman’s Neck, other species
were seen.

Thanks to Richard Aracil, Jeff Ward and “Bronx" Brendan Keogh for their help.
