PS> Oh, maybe this is obvious, but you cannot necessarily use an OS9 CD that came from a newer machine, like a G4 for example. Mine won't boot that way, but it will consistently boot from an appropriate Mac OS CD.
hey has anyone had a power mac 9500 not want to boot off of a cd, i would like to install linux on this machine, but first want to install os9 on this machine, and i insert my os9 cd hold down the c button, and yet it just sits at the happy mac face Thanks Jason Whitt
