Matt, not sure what you mean by that... They are all 128MB sticks with
the exact same sticker on them. Should I leave the 5th stick out of
the machine? Either way, it does not work regardless of RAM.

Make sure you don't interleave them if they are not matched pairs.
Doing so
will also hang the Mac.
