Where are you, geographically speaking ?

Pull the processor card and replace it with a Sonnet PCI upgrade card, 
no matter how slow.

The cheapest ones are about $25.00 on the LEM SWAP List.

BORROW one for a few hours if you can !

I have a spare nPower  MP 800+ with four 200 MHz 604e processors on it 
that you can try IF YOU ARE LOCAL, which is why I ask where you are.
