Hi everyone,I buy lots of used PowerMac processor cards, and it looks like I got a couple dual 604 cards from the 9500 series. I'm trying to boot a 7600 with them, but having trouble. I get the startup chime, but no monitor signal.
My guess is that there is something that I am missing on my Mac OS System (it's 8.5.1) that's preventing it from booting.
I know the 7600 works because I regularly boot it with everything from 120Mhz - 250Mhz 604e cards, and the occassional G3 and G4 upgrade cards from Newer and Sonnet.
Any ideas on how I can get these cards to properly boot? I tried searching the web & Apple's website, but no luck. I don't have an original Mac OS 8.5 Boot CD, so I'm not sure if there is something wrong with my install or not.
Thanks in advance for any help!
