Hi Al;

Working strictly from memory, (I think I'm awake enough) The 8500 is 
one of the target machines for the MP card.

If it is, you would see much improvement. Now having said that, have a

Also look arround more on the web for other comments/opinions.

Probably not as the S900 has its own propriety dual cpu slot. Still 
would be
a nice experiment to try though. If it did work though, would be be 
any
advantage to 2 cpu's on one card, versus 1 cpu on each card.
