Hi,

I've been given a 9500/180MP, I've upgraded the memory to 196Mb and would like to install Panther on it, I've tried XPostFacto 3.1 & 4 without success, it just stops at the grey screen with the white apple. In verbose mode it refers to calling the kernel and stops.

I've tried 10.1 using XPostFacto 3.1 and it gets as far as creating my user account and then hangs with the spinning top...

Am I stuck with 9.1? I was hoping to use it as a mail server for the household and run fetchmail to control the dial-up mail collection.

Any suggestions gratefully received.

cheers
bryan
