My experience in communication with them is that it depends a lot on the question asked, which makes perfect sense to me. info@ goes to many different people/departments. The point is not that sending an email asking for U-Boot source code will generate an instant reply with a tarball. The point is that 8devices will register that this is important for many of their customers, and thus the issue possibly receives higher priority. There was already a promise of the source code, so I believe that they understand the issue just fine, the code just hasn't been published yet.
