Yes I think this is the right approach to take. I can understand
that one takes pride in the codes he wrote but in this case
I think Spen is doing the right thing as you claimed that
your work has been done...

I agree this is time better spent. I think ft2232.c should stay and
maybe be improved using libftdi-1.0 and libftd2xx async API
(if someone wants to do that). But I also agree mpsse is the
better way to go as of now and it is good that you start to
look at the mpsse codes and adapt it to work with SWD.
