Using 10loading from the Samples subdirectory, I find that I cannot load most of my models which work very well with the old OSB loader. The biggest deficiency is that textures embedded in OSB files are not loading. Is that a known limitation?ah, well... lets call it a known-once-again problem as I had forgotten about it :-/I am, for better or for worse, still using code from the HEAD of thefcptr_stable_jun07 SVN branch and will probably continue to do so forat least the next few weeks [*]. Have any improvements been made tothe new OSB loader on the trunk since June 2007? Has anyone else triedthe new loader?hmm I talked to Carsten before keeping only the new osb loader and he said he hasn't heard of any problems.yes, the problem is that the embedded texture stuff in 1.x usesinterfaces in the image io that were not ported to 2, and I just had nottackled that problem at the time and forgotten it since then. Sorry about that, I'll work on it.
Thanks for looking into this. In the meantime, I will keep testing. I have been seeing some other strange behavior that I need to investigate further before making any sort of report.
Do you have a small sample file ??.That would still be very helpful and very much appreciated :)
I will see what I can find. The models that I have been using for testing are neither small nor something that I can share.
Thanks again for your help. -Patrick
The other possibility is that we (I) screwed up the loader which I did once recently while changing some var types.no, see above. I'm on it. Thanks, Carsten
