I created it when I started playing with a fold I had made of *Star Bowl* by Víctor M. N. R.: https://www.flickr.com/photos/victormanuelnunez/30400176781/in/photostream/ But, it looks closer to 10-sided *Semi-regular Tato Box* by Philip Chapman-bell than the bowl: https://www.flickr.com/photos/oschene/14171972600/in/photostream/ So I'm lost if it's a variation or not, and if it is a variation, of what original model. I really hope we can start a discussion from this case in order to learn more about such a common word in origami like "variation". I looked for a definition of the word in relation to origami, on the web and also on Kenneway's Complete Origami, but couldn't find any. I REALLY hope you wish to start this discussion with me : )
