Hi Monica,
So sorry you can't join us to Angers from 17 to 19 april ! There is no
origami museum at all near Paris (nor in France), sorry, and our
association has no other activities displaying origami works during April.
* Gérard Ty Sovann exhibited his big old origami works at Deuil-La-Barre
<www.valdoise.fr/agenda/20760/177-la-ferme-en-origami.htm> but until
march 21st.
* You can have a look to an installation by Junior Jacquet at the
exhibition "Jardiner" at Cité des sciences et de l'industrie
<https://www.cite-sciences.fr/fr/au-programme/expos-temporaires/jardiner>,
Paris until July 15th.
* Our association office is open to members quite each saturday (except
the one of the convention) 2-5PM. If you can come to say hello (there is
a few origami work exhibited inside), please contact us by mail
([email protected]) so we can try to have a english speaking
member here).
* Quite outside paperfolding work field, Les-Pont-de-Cé near Angers
welcome a huge collection of French traditional headdresses
<https://amisdumuseedescoiffes.com/> (Sat-Sun 2-6PM), a point more to
come to visit Angers ;-)
Welcome to France and have a nice trip !
Best,
Aurèle Duda

I have searched both Google and Google maps, and I have not yet found
an origami
museum in or near Paris, France. As we will be there in April, I was
hoping to find
at least one origami display to ad to my long list of museums to visit.
I even tried searching using the names of Vincent Floderer and and
Eric Joisel, but
I didn't find any current shows. Can someone point me in the right
direction?
Perhaps origami is included in one of the many non-origami centric
museums?
Unfortunately, we won't be near enough to Angers to attend the spring
convention there,
Monica Jones
