Regarding the Sierra Club Action Alert about the demonic practice of  
mountain-top removal.

Yes, like something out of Lord of the Rings or worse, and millions of  
acres of Appalachia are being flattened, and pushed into streams and  
hollows to strip out the coal.
It's unbelievable.

Think about the mountain culture lost. Think about the endangered  
wildlife... and think about tens of millions of tons of rock and  
debris bulldozed by machines as big as a post-office into the ancient  
valleys and hollows of some of the most beautiful back-country to be  
found east of the Mississippi. Never to be seen again...

The idiot in the White House lifted a quarter-century BAN on this evil  
practice in 2002, to please his Masters.
