Hi michael!aha, Ok, well, have you asked your friend to see if something may be checked on, I mean it can be that the newer jaws update might solve the problem, if not, I would use the built in narrator if this is going to happen again.

Id say it's either Home or Professional. I doubt if he's using ultimate. -----Original Message----- From: pc-audio-boun...@pc-audio.org [mailto:pc-audio-boun...@pc-audio.org] On Behalf Of Jörgen Hansson Sent: Wednesday, March 17, 2010 2:24 PM To: PC Audio Discussion List Subject: Re: Use of two sound cards on a Windows 7 computer with JAWS Hi there! this sounds like an update issue within Jaws 11, I know that there will be a new update soon in this month. which version of windows 7 is he using? Hello: Our client has recently upgraded from Vista to Windows 7. He has both an internal and external sound card for this computer which he uses for his Karaoke and D.J. work. He currently has JAWS set to use the sound card chip on the mother board. When he boots up and comes to the welcome screen, JAWS speaks and he enters the password and presses enter, but then the computer hangs. When he tries this without JAWS, everything is fine. Any ideas? Oh, by the way, he's using the latest version of JAWS. Thanks. Michael Barber To unsubscribe from this list, send a blank email to: pc-audio-unsubscr...@pc-audio.org
