I'm not sure about satellite TV, but ATI makes the ATI Wunder, that has a slot for a cable card you can get from your provider that would tell theWunder what digital cable channels you are subscribed to. The bad thing isthat there isn't a driver available for any of the flavors of XP, and you have to have a computer with a motherboard that is rated for this card. Some of the information it uses to access your digital cable channels isevidently stored on the motherboard. If someone had the money to purchase aWindows 7 Media Center box with this card, and their cable company would rent out the cards necessary to program the digital tuner, a blind person could use the computer like their DVR cable box.
