Hi Ben, it worked for me too. Thanks. Alan Priol
"With CD in, You could just put this in the RUN command box and hit enter. rundll32.exe advpack.dll,LaunchINFSection C:\Windows\Inf\sr.inf " and then this answer: "I was getting the following error message: Exception occurred while trying to run "shell32.dll,Control_RunDLL "C:\windows\system32\sysdm.cpl,"System". rundll32.exe advpack.dll,LaunchINFSection C:\Windows\Inf\sr.inf worked for me." What that is doing is reinstalling your system restore which is what a full repair would do. I think you should give that a try. Shouldn't do any harm. If that doesn't work, there is a repair function on the cd you could try. Ben Moore ============= PCWorks Mailing List ================= Don't see your post?
