The water taxi ride of 20 minutes across the east river to Red Hook
Brooklyn from lower Manhattan was a splendid adventure..the water was
not calmbutnot too turbulent - the small ferry was comfy... I had hoped
for a better sky on the return trip from Brooklyn.. maybe I'll do the
tripagain sometime.
The auto focus on the K-5 messed me up somewhat but the softness of a
couple of the shots was more due to my not shooting fast enough for the
amount of motion caused by the boat.

The entire trip to and from IKEA was about 4 hours at most... IKEA was
a disappointment - not my thing and the food was mediocre which was
what I really went for.. the boat trip made my day and the whole thing
was good for cardioworkout - lots of walking done..
