Hello everybody, I started PEL about four years ago and I'm glad to see that it is still be downloaded every day although it is a long time since the last release was made.
I initially created PEL because I wanted to see if I could parse the Exif format using PHP. I did that out of curiosity, not because I had a real need for the Exif data once parsed. This means that I have never really used PEL for much myself... So I have stopped doing active development on the project some time ago and the project really needs a new maintainer. If you are interested, then please reply to the list.
