I was surprised that Glenn Beck's rally turned out to be a Christian/"support the troops" jamboree rather than a hate-filled Teabagger rally. Maybe he switched gears when a lot of people expressed disgust at it being on the same date as MLK Jr.'s "I have a dream" speech. If so, we can see that there are some limits on the resistible rise of the new millennium's New Right. -- Jim DevineĀ / "Segui il tuo corso, e lascia dir le genti." (Go your own way and let people talk.) -- Karl, paraphrasing Dante. _______________________________________________ pen-l mailing list pen-l@lists.csuchico.edu https://lists.csuchico.edu/mailman/listinfo/pen-l
