If you can't read Japanese then you don't know how Japanese sounds.  If you
can read Danish you don't know how it sounds.  Try putting a potato in your
gullet and speak the language.  It's that hard.  It's not grammar or the
vocabulary.

Been there, done that, and failed like so many others before me:)
