Another medical question, this time about shylo

Hello Everyone
I was wondering, since the weather got colder, shylos hair right on his spine, has 
gotten a little crisp, and sticking straight up, it doesnt brush out either, but 
theres no discharge from below the skin, no scab or anything, just sticking out?
PS: Were gonna take midnite to the vet in a day or two.. time for a check up anyways :)
