I have been trampled by a herd of wildebeast. At least, that's what it feels like. I had my very first deep tissue massage yesterday for my neck and upper back, since I couldn't turn my head to the right on Friday. Did it feel good? Yes, unless it hurt. It was a good hurt for the most part, but I swear my back is black and blue now (Matt says it's not). She made me flex up my shoulderblades so she could get UNDER them. This was a half-hour massage. I iced my back last night and drank a gallon of water, but oofdah (pardon my Minnesotan), am I achy! And I go back for another session tomorrow. After all that, my chiropractor said my muscles were still very tight, and he called me a "project." Oh lord, I'm a chiropractic project. Hopefully this means I'm on my way up in feeling better, but yikes, I'll be sore forever!
