>>Oh, my Nikita saw Dr. Becker once- I have her info somewhere! I'm also
going to look around in Indy since that is where my friend lives.<<

I know Humane Society of Indianapolis doesn't spay g.pigs, but they had 4
available this past weekend. I didn't pay any attention to the girl/boy
ratio -- I was there to pick up a new fosterbun and to see what other likely
candidates they had for rescue.

We actually picked up 5 new rescues this weekend -- my new foster-girl,
Bethany, looks a lot like a wild bun! She's a beautiful brown agouti,
uppy-eared girl, who weighs around 6 lbs. When I got to the rabbit room,
she was all flopped out in the back of her cage, dead to the world :-) The
woman who is in charge of the rabbit room at HSI had written on her cage
card that part of her right rear foot was missing, so I figured she'd be a
good candidate for fostering. Come to find out, it's just a toe, maybe two,
that's missing! She's being spayed today -- I dropped her off at the vet
clinic this morning after an apparently horrific ride in the car.

Ooh... I also have a friend who was fostering g.pigs. The last time I
talked to her, she still had 5 that she was trying to rehome -- she's trying
to reduce the number of foster animals she has. I can contact her and ask
what she has available... just let me know!

Amanda
