I remember when we tried giving that to my bichon frise Max for his arthritis when he was in his late teens. That was back years ago when it was available in an orange powdered substance, looked like tang. Kari's mother was using it on her dog who looked like Benji and it was helping her.
Well we put it in his water, exactly like the instructions said. Only problem was when pizza drank it, her fur was already dark and I guess the orange blended in with her fur. Max since he was a Bichon which looks like white cotton balls on legs, his whole face turned orange. It took a few weeks and a trip to the groomers to get the coloring out. So I can honestly say I had an orange dog for a few weeks. How is the G/C already in the food? Hope is a dog, and Eukanuba makes a large breed adult dog food with Chondroitin Sulfate and Glucosamine. We also feed dog food (different brand) to our rats, and that has it in there, too. I haven't heard of a rabbit food formula for older rabbits, although it sounds like a good idea for someone to make it. Andrea Z and the Z Zoo Andrea M.
