Chelsea Handler's advice for the impending Holidays

Chelsea Handler is a unique talent who combines sexy with satire, and has
brilliant timing instincts that let her guests on her hip talk show "Chelsea
Lately" do themselves in often times by their own words.

She isn't afraid to feature equally funny comics in an opening bullpen-style
segment that hearkens the old Colin Quinn "Tough Crowd" show, as they
dissect pop headlines and riff on celebrity sacred cows. It's not a chat
show to be trifled with.

Now Chelsea is working her body and face for Playboy, a magazine that
appreciates a witty broad as much as they do a great pair of gams and
knockers.

The December issue of the venerated men's magazine - as American as apple
pie and Chevys - popped our Ms. Handler on the cover, filming her in an ode
to the good ol' "Mad Men" days of cocktails and canapes for a swinging adult
take on Holiday festivities.

The Host of E!s "Chelsea Lately" has provided tips for a kid-free, sotted
Yuletide in her five page "Guide to the Holidays."

Handler's Playboy December issue (available on newsstands and at
www.playboydigital.com ) reveals her brand of comedy and love for
intoxicants with the original feature, “Chelsea Handler’s Guide to the
Holidays,” in which she offers crucial holiday entertaining tips, including
how to gloss and paper over a myriad of mistakes with vodka.

Words of wisdom are illustrated by colorful and hilarious photos of the
comedienne and her aide-de-camp, Chuy, spreading holiday cheer and
eradicating inhibitions around the Chelsea Lately office.

Handler’s holiday guide and original video footage are available at

.

Chelsea offers this expert tip for cooking: “I love a big holiday meal with
friends. And I’m a meat-and-potatoes kind of girl. I like baked hams, mashed
potatoes, a big turkey stuffed with Vicodin and extra tryptophan – all the
old standards.”

On hooking up at office parties: “If you drink so much that it seems a good
idea to hook up with one of your co-workers, try to do it somewhere a little
less public, like a car. … If you’re going to make a mistake you’ll regret
tomorrow, you may as well do it somewhere classy.”

On keeping the holidays secular: “It’s time to take back Christmas for those
of us who don’t want to hear about angels and shepherds and babies with
glowing heads. Besides, ever since Jesus started dating Madonna, I can’t
take him so seriously anymore. A secular holiday party is a happy holiday
party. … If you’re doing it right, Christmas should be a celebration of
family and friends and having a good time, with just a sprinkle of porn
thrown in.”

On the right blend of celebrity guests: “Paula Abdul and David Hasselhoff
are a must, especially with all the free time they both have. And don’t
forget about Michael Jackson’s doctor. He’s gotten a bad rap … but I think
he’d be a lot of fun to have around for Christmas.”
