Confirmed in attendance is 2008 Playboy Playmate of the Year and featured
star on MTV's hit series *The Hills,* Jayde Nicole. In addition to playing
in the poker tournament, at "Wager for Warriors," Miss Nicole will be
unveiling the new "Silver Starlettes" uniform, an iconic outfit designed by
Silver Star Casting Company. Recently, Silver Star and AFF have teamed up
for a groundbreaking partnership to raise awareness and funds for troops
returning home from abroad. This partnership is using the sale of
commemorative AFF tee shirts and this new uniform to bring together fashion
and pop culture in support of American Military Service Members. The
commemorative tee shirts can be purchased at
*www.buysilverstar.com*<http://www.buysilverstar.com/>with a portion
of the proceeds going to AFF.

In addition to Miss Nicole, many other distinguished Floridians and
celebrities will be in attendance. Present will be several drivers from
NASCAR's Sprint Cup Series highlighted by David Reutimann, driver of
"Aaron's Dream Machine," in town for Saturday's race at Homestead-Miami
Speedway. Driver David Gilliland will be playing in the poker tournament.
Artists from Miami's own Love Hate Tattoo Studio, featured in TLC's hit show
*Miami Ink*, will also be "wagering for warriors" on Thursday, November 19.
Members of the US House of Representatives from across the state will be in
attendance, schedules permitting, including Mario Diaz-Balart (R-25th FL),
Lincoln Diaz-Balart (R-21st FL), Kendrick Meek (D-17th FL), and Debbie
Wasserman Schultz (D-20th FL). Many other distinguished members of the
greater Miami area have expressed their support for this event.

There will be prizes awarded to the top finishers of the poker tournament
and the table games respectively. Such prizes include a trip for two to Las
Vegas, a cocktail party with Jayde Nicole following the event, a limousine
night out in South Beach, and dinner certificates to elite local
establishments. There will also be a silent auction held throughout the
night.

As guests of honor to the event, the AFF is providing complimentary tickets
to twenty five wounded veterans and their guests. This will be a great
experience for both the veterans and the dignitaries to interact in a night
of fun, while promoting the efforts of the AFF.

Tickets for Wager for Warriors are limited, but still available. While table
game tickets may be purchased at the door for $500, a seat in the $1,000
poker tournament must be reserved in advance. Please contact the Armed
