Hi all, in our company we apply POI for a range of use cases like importing data from Excel workbooks into databases or doing server-side calculations of user-defined analysis models. We already implemented a few projects successfully and mastered to manage some of the POI pitfalls and extended it by some functions... We don't know if we can also rely on POI for future projects because we don't know what POI plans for the future. Maybe you could answer a few questions:
- Will there be ongoing work after POI 3.0? - Are you planning to support the Open Document Format which is used in Excel 2007? - Will there be periodical releases or patches?
