Pismo won't start up

G'day

I have a start-up problem with my Pismo-400. It was working quite good 
up until few days ago.
The symptom is the start-up, I can't get it to start. I've checked its 
power supply and it's working.

Since it's battery was dead long time ago, I've always used it with its 
power supply attached and it worked quite well for a long time.
The only other possible cause I can think of is that, I didn't use it 
for quite some time.

It's a Pismo 400, with 64mb Ram and 20GB hdd.

Can anyone give me some other possible causes for this symptom?
