Dear All My 3400/240 (144mb Ram, 3gb HD) has started to freeze on start-up. The extensions start to load and the machine reports an address error. Tried to prune extensions to no affect and finally reformatted hard disk and re-installed OS (9.1). Problem solved (multiple re-boots all successful). This am thought I'd check that all was still well -- this time extensions start to load and system freezes with a bus error! Is it the hard disk do you think? Running Norton Disk Doctor from an external HD gives a report of major problems with the disk -- is it time for a new one -- and if so, which are recommended?
Many thanks.
best
