This isn't to say your batteries are not as you say, but sometimes batteries show themselves to be fully charged when in fact they are quite dead. When this is true, they usually won't take a charge. I suggest testing the batteries with a tester to see what they are producing for voltage, and if possible an amp meter to check them under load.
