Hi Yeping -

The best way is to upload your image to a file sharing website (e.g. Dropbox, 
Box, Google Drive, etc.) and include a link to the image (or folder of images) 
in your message.  That way, people only have to download the image if they want 
to do so.

It is also possible to send attached photos to the list, just make sure the 
file size isn’t too big (a 200KB PNG file, for example, shows plenty of 
detail—no need for a 2MB image).  Many (most?) mail programs have options to 
reduce the file size of attached images.
