"help povray" unfortunately has a typo in the url, but is otherwise informative.

Good luck. Unforunately, this stuff is 1.5 years out of date -- I haven't 
revisited the triangle situation since then.  From what I hear, Povray now 
supports some kind of interpolated triangle primitive.  

        I need (1) some guidance from a knowledgable Povray user on what the 
exact situation is with color interpolated triangles and (2) a day to focus on 
Povray (probably not until March at this rate).
