>>> How about Sandy... anybody heard of their status as well? >>> I know Eidersoft went under a long time ago, but still I'm uncertain >>> as to the status of ICE >>> which by the way, worked beautifully with my SGC/Aurora/SMSQ/E :-) >> Sandy changed their name to Power Computing in the UK. No idea if they >> are still there, though. > Hmmm any relation to Power Computing as in Apple Clones? I doubt it. Sandy UK PCP (the PCP standing for Personal Computer Products) was based in Bedfordshire, England and before the change of name was either owned by or affiliated to the Farmintel group in Italy. Sandy proposed to bring out a 68000 based SuperQL based on a Tony Tebby design, but this floundered due to some difficulties between the British and Italian divisions. A QXL style card was later proposed in place of the QL derivative (i.e. QL on a card for the PC) but I don't think this saw the light of day either. Sandy later became Power Computing, but I didn't follow their product lines after that to know if they went into PC or Mac products. -- Dilwyn Jones [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://www.soft.net.uk/dj/index.html
