I think it should be stock as well. It's not presently the stock setting 
from what I can see. It would need to be in the config_local.php file, 
and it's not in the copy I made of it before I did my own mods. It's 
setting is false in the stock SM package (config.php file).

I agree it should be a stock setting because it can cause confusion.  I just
can't recall if it's already set or not in the stock QMT since I've been all
over those settings on mine.

The addressbook post caused me to have a look at the squirrelmail
preferences folder. I see that when people log in with different
combinations of capitalization, they get separate address books and
preference files. Is this a feature? I can see where it might be kind of
handy, but I expect it's more likely a bug. I'm guessing that
squirrelmail should probably translate to lower case the login id so
that these entries are unique.

Is there some sort of fix for this? Would someone care to look into it?
I'm really not too concerned about it, but I can see where it might
cause some confusion for users who have logged in with different
combinations of caps.
