It is probably because noone on this list can answer your question. Two 
elements:

1) For such a question, it is always safer and faster to contact the 
maintainer(s) directly. You have links to them on the page you cite in 
your message,

2) You should look also at the alternate R eclipse plugin: StatEt at 
http://www.walware.de/goto/statet.
