Without permission (sometimes it is easier to get forgiveness than
persmission), here are two quotes from a recent Michael Gorman e-mail:

clarifying cataloguing rules."

SO HAVE HIM DO IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

And give the revised version to a good indexer.  Too bad Elizabeth
Moys (blessed be her memory) is no longer with us.

Michael adds:

"I put forward at the international conference in 1999 ... in Canada
[the idea] that what we needed was a stripped down AACR2 with
anomalies removed or corrected)." 

The need remains.  RDA needs it even more than AACR2.
