Microwave Southwestern Chile Buns From Farm Journal's Country Style Microwave Cooking
1 1/2 pounds ground chuck 3/4 cup chopped onion 1/2 cup chopped green pepper 1 clove garlic minced 2 8 ounce cans tomato sauce 1/2 cup ketchup 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley 2 tablespoons chile powder 1/2 teaspoon salt 1/8 teaspoon hot pepper sauce 4 hamburger buns split 1/4 cup shredded cheddar cheese Crumble ground chuck in to a 3 quart microwave safe glass casserole. Add onion, green pepper and garlic. Cover with paper towel and cook on high setting 8 minutes or until meat loses its pink color; stirring every 3 minutes. Drain off fat. Stir in next six ingredients. Cook uncovered on high 4 minutes; stir and cook 3 minutes more or until hot and bubbly.
