Let's get this into a CWS and QA it. Is 2.4.1 past code freeze?

Not past yet, but quite near. Code freeze is May 8, Thursday May 1 is
a public holiday in Germany, Friday most people will take a day off, so if we want to get this in there aren't that many days left now. Only 2-3
days for QA from May 5 on, given that the CWS will not be ready before
this week's Wednesday evening.

Noting how short code freeze is away, can someone please take a look at integrating the following AppleScript change into 2.4.1:

further information is available in

It is already attached to the 2.4.1 tracking issue, and is essential for OpenOffice.org 2.4.1 X11 on Mac OS X, as it dramatically improves the startup useability and speed for all users. As you will see from the comments on the blog post, many users have done the quick fix, and found it to work.

Unfortunately I currently don't have time to work on this, due to work commitments.

Shaun
