For completeness: Further investigations showed this problem is not bound to list boxes and/or grid controls, but applies to all macros in forms (with the side condition of document preview being turned on). Also, the problem is already known as issue 86872, which is fixed in the (already approved by QA) CWS dba30b. So, again, the fix is just copying already-working code from another CWS.
